Jewelry can be a real pain to organize. Boxes are great, but you can’t easily see what you have. The best way for me to make sure I’m wearing my jewelry collection is to have it in plain sight. Here are a few open display ideas I use in my own home.

I bought simple shelves from Goodwill and painted them white and added screw in hooks, about a half inch apart, on the bottom of the shelves. This makes it easy for me to hang my most favorite necklaces.

Marshalls always has great inexpensive metal jewelry racks. The 3 level earring holders are the perfect solution for organizing multiple pairs of earrings. I also scored a great multi-pronged, double sided necklace rack perfect for my delicate necklaces.

Ikea has tons of simple hooks and racks you can screw into the wall. The wooden ones I have can be painted or stained any color you like.

I love buying retail store displays for home. My double level bracelet rack is from a store that was cleaning out their old displays and I scooped it up for next to nothing.

Be creative, use something not intentionally meant for jewelry display. Bowls and dishes are also great to put rings and hair clips in. I even have a pedestal white glass bowl I put my sunglasses in.
