My name is Heather, and Special is my small boutique where I sell all my own handmade jewelry creations. I try to use as many recycled items as I can: be it vintage chains, charms, beads, fabrics, lace, and even my store fixtures. I love finding something old that has been forgotten and making it into something loved and new.  

I also sell local art: drawings, paintings, etc.  I will be doing revolving artists for last Thursdays with a late night reception for each new artist.  I hope to cater to new artists and help get them exposure.

Additionally, I hope to give back to my community.  I really want to focus on this neighborhood by building up the business’s, schools and it’s residents.  

The store is dedicated to the memory of my mother.  None of this would have happen with out her unconditional love and support.  She was a wonderful craft-er who gave me a creators spirit.  I miss her dearly, but I hope keep her memory alive in all that I do.
